Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Cookie ice cream with Spicy Caramel from Smitten, Lafayette, CA. This business has several locations and started in SF. They use liquid nitrogen to freeze the ice cream when you order. This means they have limited flavors (5 or 6) and you can only get one flavor at a time. The ice cream was pretty good and I love the flavor but it did leave a fatty film on my mouth, like whipped cream often does. I loved the spicy caramel sauce and could eat it on anything. They had some really good looking sundaes and all of their toppings were gourmet.
